The Global Socialite Travel Policy
This Travel Policy outlines the terms, conditions, and expectations for all participants traveling with The Global Socialite to Ghana between July 15 and August 9, 2024. By joining this trip, participants agree to adhere to this policy.
1. Payment Policy
Trip Cost: $3,500 per person (excluding flights).
Payment Options

Pay in Full:

Full payment of $3,500, plus processing fees, due at the time of booking.

Deposit + Monthly Payments:
-
$500 deposit to secure your spot (non-refundable after 30 days).
-
Remaining balance split into 5 equal payments, due on the 20th of each month from February to June 2024. Processing fees apply.

Deposit + Split Payments:
-
$500 deposit to secure your spot (non-refundable after 30 days).
-
Remaining balance split into 3 payments, due on March 20, May 5, and June 20, 2024. Processing fees apply.

Processing Fees
Participants choosing a payment plan will be responsible for any additional processing fees associated with multiple transactions. These fees will be clearly itemized at checkout.
2. Cancellation Policy
Deposit Policy

All deposits are non-refundable after 30 days from the payment date.
Cancellation Refunds
-
Cancellations made before May 15, 2024, will receive a refund minus the $500 deposit and any processing fees.

Cancellations made on or after May 15, 2024, are non-refundable.
Cancellation Requests
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to connect@jadetinner.com.
3. Travel Requirements
Visa

A visa to Ghana is required. Participants may handle their visa independently or opt for Organizer assistance (fees apply).

The first 5 participants to reserve their spot with a deposit will receive complimentary visa-on-arrival assistance.
Health Requirements

Proof of Yellow Fever vaccination (or exemption documentation) is required for entry into Ghana.
-
Participants are responsible for obtaining and providing all necessary health certifications.
4. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is mandatory for all participants.
-
Insurance must cover:
-
Trip cancellations.
-
Medical emergencies.
-
Lost or delayed luggage.
-

Proof of insurance must be submitted to the Organizer by June 1, 2024.
Disclaimer: The Organizer is not responsible for any losses or disruptions due to a participant’s failure to purchase adequate travel insurance.
5. Itinerary Changes

The Organizer reserves the right to adjust the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, safety concerns, or availability of services.

Participants will be notified of significant changes as soon as possible.
6. Participant Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to act respectfully toward fellow travelers, local communities, and service providers.

Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the trip without a refund.
7. Liability and Responsibility

The Organizer is not liable for:

Loss, injury, or damages caused by delays, accidents, natural disasters, or political events.

Additional costs due to flight cancellations, missed connections, or failure to meet entry requirements.

Participants are responsible for:
-
Providing accurate information during booking (e.g., passport details, health requirements).
-
Ensuring timely submission of payments and documents.

8. Communication Policy

Official trip communications will be sent via email to the address provided during registration.

It is the participant’s responsibility to monitor emails for updates, deadlines, and trip information.
9. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be resolved in accordance with Texas law.
10. Acknowledgment
By participating in this trip, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this Travel Policy.
11. Flights

Flights are not included in the trip cost.

Participants may book flights independently or request assistance from our private travel agent.

Note: Assistance with booking flights may incur additional fees.

Participants are required to send their flight confirmation to the host at connect@jadetinner.com no later than one week before the start of their scheduled experience.

The Organizer is not responsible for any issues arising from missed flights, delays, or cancellations.
